Please be advised that Lakopetra has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. If you’re a sunseeker the best time to visit Lakopetra is between June and September. The hottest month of the year is July with an average daily maximum of 32 C and an average low of 25 C. From mid-March to May, the climate is mild, and the rains gradually become rarer.

Depending on seasonality the operation schedules of the openair restaurants may vary. Outdoor dining options are also subject to weather conditions.

Do you have Baby food meal plan?

0-1 years old toddlers will have arranged their baby food as you wish. Please contact the Restaurant Manager to order in advance. Our staff is happy to lend a hand with warming baby bottles or baby food.

 

Do we need to book the restaurants in advance?

It is required to book for the a la carte restaurant at least one day before.

 

Is there any dress-code for the Restaurants?

Daytime: Resort Casual. Cover-ups are required for breakfast and lunch. Footwear is always required in restaurants & bars.

Evening: Smart casual attire. No beachwear or shorts during meals.

 

Can we arrange a Private Dinner?

Candlelight private dinner on the sand dunes can be arranged upon availability and weather conditions permitting with additional charge.

 

What do you offer for a Special Diet?

In order to facilitate any special dietary requests, the following procedure is necessary. Upon arrival, the guest informs the reception staff whether there are any allergies or special dietary requests. After that we introduce the guest to the restaurant manager and the executive chef of the hotel. Every single day the executive chef or the sous chef of the hotel explains the buffet to the guest, tailormade options and special dishes can be prepared upon request. The buffet has a wide range of choices. Every day and each meal are different and has choices of fresh vegetables, meats, fish, seafood, vegetarian, vegan, kids buffet, baby food, etc. Also, once per week you have a complimentary dinner at the a la carte restaurant. Yes, we can adapt the menu to gluten free too!

What should I have with me upon the check in?

Your ID card or Passport and the credit card you have used to book your reservation.

 

Is it possible to enter my room prior to check-in?

If the room is unoccupied, the hotel may approve earlier entrance. However, if you are planning to arrive early in the morning and you want to ensure that the room is ready, we suggest that you book an additional overnight prior to your arrival.

 

May I use the Hotel’s Facilities before my check-in or after my check-out?

All Hotel’s Facilities are available to Grecotel Casa Marron guests to be used by the time you arrive in the hotel.

 

If I arrive before my check-in time, can I drop my bag somewhere?

Casa Marron provides you a luggage area where you can safely store your luggage and personal belongings.

 

Is it possible to have a confirmed late check out?

A day before your departure a late check out may be requested at the reception. There are different options with applicable charges to choose according to the availability the resort shall have. However, if you are planning to depart rather late and you want to ensure that the room would be possible to be kept, we suggest that you book in advance an overnight with your reservation.

 

What is the environmental tax? Am I obligated to pay it?

An environmental fee, defined as Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, of €7, 00 per room per night is applicable by law, payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon check out.

 

Can you confirm a certain room number of location?

A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability, but no confirmation is possible.

 

Does the hotel provide laundry and ironing services?

Laundry and Ironing Services are available with an extra charge.

 

Is there a safety deposit box in the room?

All room types offer a safety deposit box.

 

What plug adapter do I need to bring with?

The power plugs and sockets in the hotel are of type C. Type C consists of two round parallel pins while the wall plug has two holes where it is connected. The standard voltage is 220 V. Common adaptors can be provided from the reception at no extra charge, upon availability.

 

Is there an ATM machine in the hotel premises?

No, the nearest ATMs to the hotel is 12km away at Kato Achaia Town.

 

Are there any shops in the Hotel?

Yes, in the hotel we have a mini market with souvenirs and a Boutique shop.

 

Do I have to bring my own Beach towels?

No, upon your arrival you will find beach towels in your room and then you can change them free of charge.

 

Is the hotel accessible to Mobility Impaired Guests?

Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramps leading in some hotel areas but our hotel is not suitable for disabled people.

 

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Only guide dogs are allowed in the hotel.

No, you could book with our Wellness Center reception upon your arrival or during your stay with us.

 

Do you have a Gym?

We have a well-equipped indoor gym and an outdoor gym.

 

Do you have a medical facility on the island?

There is a medical Center in Kato Achaia Town (12 kms) and in Patras (35kms) big hospitals.

 

Does the Hotel have Sauna?

Yes, there are two Finish Saunas at the hotel, free of charge for our guests.

Do you have a kid’s club?

We have a very well-equipped Children’s creative and educational facility called Grecoland.

 

What age is allowed in the kid’s club?

Children between ages of 04 – 12 years old will have complimentary access to the Grecoland kids club. Children who are 3-years old or younger will also have access to the Grecoland kids club with the presence of a parent or a guardian.

What Types of Water Sports Activities do you have?

We do have non-motorized Water Sports activities, included in the all-inclusive package, reservation required.
For a fee: Water Sports lessons, Water-ski, Jet-ski, Parachute, Banana & Rings, Crazy shark, Fly board, with special equipment.

 

Are there any restrictions for the waterslides?

– Kids should be under the supervision of their parents at all times

– People who have health problems are not allowed to slide

– People who cannot swim are not allowed to slide

– Running along the stairs is forbidden

– Avoid swimming immediately after eating or drinking

– Please advise the relevant signs next to the slides

 

What is the depth of the children pool?

The depth of our children pool is 50cm.

 

How many Tennis courts does the Hotel has?

The Hotel has two Tennis courts that our guests can use for free. Moreover, we offer to our guests the tennis equipment for free. You can reserve the court at the reception desk anytime.
