What is the weather like in Kos?
Please be advised that Kos has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. If you’re a sunseeker the best time to visit Kos is between June and September. The hottest month of the year is July with an average daily maximum of 31 C and an average low of 23 C. From mid-March to May, the climate is mild, and the rains gradually become rarer.

What is the payment and cancellation policy of the resort?
Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. How far ahead the payment is required and how far ahead you can cancel the reservation free of charge will depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.
How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is complete, the reservations team will send you a secure online payment link through which you can settle the payment via your credit card. Alternatively, we do accept bank transfers as well.
What are the payment methods while on the island?
Credit card, debit card, and cash payments are accepted. For credit cards, we accept VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. Guests must present the same credit card used for the booking, along with a photo ID or passport of the cardholder, upon check-in at the hotel.
Please note, according to legislation, partial or full settlement of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is prohibited. All payments exceeding this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.

What is the standard mode of Airport transfer to Grecotel Casa Paradiso?
Grecotel Casa Paradiso organizes private Transfers for Arrival & Departure from and to Hippocrates International Airport for all guests. The route will be approximately 20-minutes to access the resort from the Airport.
Charges vary upon vehicle.
What types of vehicles are used for the airport transfers?
Our Luxury Transfers are private according to the reservation terms.

Is there a waiting time for the transfers to the resort?
Shared transfers are scheduled in line with international flight arrival times to Hippocrates International Airport. Please expect a waiting time of 30 to 60 minutes, as this is shared with other guests. Alternatively, private transfers are available upon request for an additional fee.
How can Kos Town be reached?
- With Public Transportation Bus. The Bus stop is 50m from the hotel beach road.
- Taxi order is available 24/7 at the reception (waiting time from 10 – 30 minutes)

Do you have Baby food meal plan?
0-1 years old toddlers will have arranged their baby food as you wish. Please contact the Restaurant Manager to order in advance. Our staff is happy to lend a hand with warming baby bottles or baby food.
Do we need to book the restaurants in advance?
It is recommended to book for the ala carte restaurant at least one day before in order to ensure the availability.
Is there any dress-code for the Restaurants?
Daytime: Resort Casual. Cover‐ups are required for breakfast and lunch. Footwear is required in restaurants & bars at all times
Evening: Smart Casual. No beachwear or shorts in the evening. Gentlemen – long trousers and shirts with sleeves (short or long) are required in all restaurants & bars.
Can we arrange a Private Dinner?
Candlelight private dinner on the sand dunes can be arranged upon availability and weather conditions permitting.
What do you offer for a Special Diet?
In order to facilitate any special dietary requests, the following procedure is necessary. Upon arrival, the guest informs the reception staff whether there are any allergies or special dietary requests and then a form is filled up with the room number, the initials of the guest; the form is signed by the guest. After that we introduce the guest to the restaurant manager and the executive chef of the hotel. Every single day the executive chef or the sous chef of the hotel explains the buffet to the guest, tailormade options and special dishes can be prepared upon request. The buffet has a wide range of choices. Every day and each meal are different and has choices of fresh vegetables, meats, fish, seafood, vegetarian, vegan, kids buffet, baby food, etc. Also, once per week you have a complimentary dinner at the a la carte restaurant. Yes, we can adapt the menu to gluten free too!
For gluten free products, we can provide you with the followings:
Bread, Pasta, Pizza, Desserts (upon request), Pancakes (upon request), Snacks in the afternoon (upon request)
And for breakfast we can provide:
Muffins, Cake, Choco flakes, Corn flakes

What should I have with me upon the check in?
Your ID card or Passport and the credit card you have used to book your reservation.
Is it possible to enter my room prior to check-in?
If the room is unoccupied, the hotel may approve earlier entrance. However, if you are planning to arrive early in the morning and you want to ensure that the room is ready, we suggest that you book an additional overnight prior to your arrival.
May I use the Hotel’s Facilities before my check-in or after my check-out?
All the Hotel’s Facilities are available to Grecotel Casa Paradiso guests to be used by the time you arrive in the hotel.
If I arrive before my check-in time, can I drop my bag somewhere?
Casa Paradiso provides you a luggage area where you can safely store your luggage and personal belongings.
Is it possible to have a confirmed late check out?
A day before your departure a late check out may be confirmed at the reception. There are different options with applicable charges to choose according to the availability the resort shall have. However, if you are planning to depart rather late and you want to ensure that the room would be possible to be kept, we suggest that you book in advance an overnight with your reservation.
What is the environmental fee? Am I obligated to pay it?
An environmental fee, defined as Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, of €7,00 per room per night is applicable by law, payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon check out.
Can we have twin beds in the Casa Room or the Casa Veranda Rooms?
No, twin beds are available upon availability only to the Mini rooms’ category. Kindly inform us about your wish prior your arrival.
Is there a coffee or tea in the room?
All rooms are equipped with Tea & Coffee Facilities.
Can you confirm a certain room number or location?
A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability.
Does the hotel provide laundry and Ironing services?
Laundry and Ironing Services are available with an extra charge.
Is there a safety deposit box in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.
What plug adapter do I need to bring with?
The power plugs and sockets in the hotel are of type C. Type C consists of two round parallel pins while the wall plug has two holes where it is connected, the standard voltage is 220 V. Common adaptors can be provided from the reception at no extra charge, upon availability.
Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?
No, you may exchange cash notes at the airport in Euros.
Is there an ATM machine in the hotel premises?
No, the nearest ATM to the hotel is 2km away to the Marmari Village.
Are there any shops in the Hotel?
Yes, in the hotel we have a mini market and a jewellery shop.
Do I have to bring my own Beach towels?
No, upon your arrival you will find beach towels in your room and then you can change them to our beach towel station free of charge.
Is the hotel accessible to Mobility Impaired Guests?
Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Only guide dogs are allowed in the hotel.
Are the rooms renovated?
The renovated categories are the Casa Rooms, which are located at the main building. (Mini room, Casa room field view, Casa room side sea view and Casa room sea view, Grand Family room). More specifically, there are new bathrooms, floors, beds, mattresses and various decorative items have been changed. All the rest categories have been redecorated and improved. In the Casa Veranda Bungalows which come either with field view, side sea view or sea view, mattresses and beds have been renewed and various decorative items have been changed. Bathrooms remain as previously.
The Casa Banana rooms and the Casa Family rooms which are in the main building, have also been redecorated. Bathrooms remain as previously.

All the room types of the hotel have been equipped with new flat TV’s 43’ – 50’ – 55’.
WELLNESS
Do we have to book the spa in advance?
No, you can book with our reception or guest services department upon your arrival.
Do you have a gym?
We have a well-equipped indoor gym and an outdoor gym.
Do you have a medical facility on the island?
We do have a public hospital, along with an assigned 24/7 on call Resort doctor.
Does the Hotel have Sauna?
No, there is not Sauna at the hotel
KIDS CLUB
Do you have a kid’s club?
We have a very well-equipped Children’s creative and educational facility called Grecoland.
What age is allowed in the kid’s club?
Children between ages of 04 – 12 years old will have complimentary access to the Grecoland kids club. Children who are 3-years old or younger will also have access to the Grecoland kids club with the presence of a parent or a guardian. Alternatively, babysitting service can be booked for children who are 3-years old or younger.
Is it possible to book babysitting service?
Babysitting service can be booked with the below prices and terms and conditions.
Normal hours (8am – Midnight): € 20 per hour
- Guests are required to inform for the baby-sitting services they need at least one week before.
- All bookings are for a minimum of 1 hour and follow with 1-hour increments. For example, if the babysitting lasts for 1.30hrs the guest will be charged for 2 hrs.
- For children younger than the age of 2, we allow one babysitter per child and for children older than the age of 2 years, 2 children per babysitter at the same time.
- Rates and taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
- The babysitter is chosen upon availability. We are not able to guarantee any specific requests such as gender, language or a specific Teammate. Teammates from Grecoland are available for babysitting duties outside of operational hours.
ACTIVITIES
What Types of Water Sports Activities do you have?
We do have non-motorized Water Sports activities, included in the all inclusive package, reservation required.
With our Fun2Fun Watersports school, you can have fun with canoe or pedalo included to the All-Inclusive package or learn windsurfing, kitesurfing, catamaran sailing and wing foiling with an extra charge.
Are there any restrictions for the waterslides?
– Individuals who are shorter than 120cm and weigh more than 120kg cannot slide
– Kids should be under the supervision of their parents at all times
– People who have health problems are not allowed to slide
– People who cannot swim are not allowed to slide
– Running along the stairs is forbidden
– Please advise the relevant signs next to the slides
What is the depth of the children pool?
The depth of our children pool is 60cm.
Are there any heated pools?
No, at the hotel there are no heated pools.
How many Tennis courts does the Hotel has?
The Hotel has two Tennis courts that our guests can use for free. Moreover, we offer to our guests the tennis equipment for free. You can reserve the court at the reception desk anytime. Tennis lessons are offered with extra charge.
