Please be advised that the The climate of Corfu Island is Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. The daily average temperature ranges from 9.5 °C (49 °F) in January to 25 °C (77 °F) in August.
From mid-March to May, the climate is mild and the rains are gradually become rarer.
From June to August, it almost never rains and the maximum temperature can reach 35/36 °C (95/97 °F), especially in July and August. Luckily, sea breezes blow, providing relief, at least when the heat is not excessive, and in any case, you can cool yourself in the sea.
In September and October, there may still be some rainy days. Even when it rains, it is very unlikely to rain for days to an end but during the day or night leaving plenty of time to engage in indoor and outdoor activities in the resort or around the island.

What is the payment and cancellation policy of the resort?
Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. How far ahead the payment is required and how far ahead you can cancel the reservation free of charge will depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.
How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is complete, the reservations team will send you a secure online payment link though which you can settle the payment via your credit card. Alternatively, we do accept bank transfers as well.

Credit card, debit card, and cash payments are accepted. For credit cards, we accept VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. Guests must present the same credit card used for the booking, along with a photo ID or passport of the cardholder, upon check-in at the hotel.

Grecotel Corfu Imperial organizes Luxury private Transfers for Arrival & Departure from and to Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport for all guests. The journey will be approximately 40-minutes to access the resort from the Airport.
What types of vehicles are used for the airport transfers?
Our Luxury Transfers are private or semi-private according to the reservation terms.

Is there a luggage limit for the Luxury Speed Boat Transfers?
A Baggage allowance of 20kg checked luggage and 5kg carry-on luggage per person will be provided for the transfer journey. However, it is not strictly enforced on our guests. Should the luggage exceed the mentioned limit, no additional charges are levied on extra luggage, unless and additional private vehicle is required just for luggage.
Is there a waiting time for the transfers to the resort?
Shared luxury transfers are scheduled in line with international flight arrival times to Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport. Please expect a waiting time of 30 to 60 minutes, as this is shared with other guests. Alternatively, private transfers are available upon request for an additional fee.
Is it possible to arrange Sea Transfer?
It is indeed possible to arrange either Sea transfer to Grecotel Corfu Imperial in combination with a taxi or a minivan to the designated meeting point in Corfu Town from the Airport. The trip will take roughly 15 – 20 minutes in the sea.
Which are the Complimentary Transfers provided?
Complimentary luxury sea transfers between the Corfu Kommeno resorts (available from 15/05 until 15/10), weather permitted. Complimentary transfer to Danilia Village, per dinner reservation (according to the hotel’s scheduled routes, with sharing shuttle).
Complimentary Shuttle Bus to Corfu Town seat reservation is required.
Complimentary arrivals and departure transfers are considered for direct bookings or added values on the terms of your reservation. If you are entitled to it you are kindly requested to send your flight details, name of the reservation and booking reference to our reservations department in order to make the arrangements.

Are all the restaurants operational?
At Corfu Imperial, a Grecotel Resort to Live at Kommeno Peninsula, some restaurants, such as YALI SEAFOOD, are open only from June to September due to weather conditions since is located at an open-air venue. During the resort’s season, the operational schedule of the restaurants may vary, and some may have closing days during the week for dinner. It’s always a good idea to check the schedule upon arrival, as the availability can change based on occupancy and seasonality. Although the schedule for restaurants may change without prior notice due to operational reasons, our Guest Services Team will always contact you to make any necessary adjustments to your reservations to ensure a smooth experience.
Is Early Breakfast & Lunch Box available?
Yes, Early Breakfast can be arranged. Guests who need to start their day early can request this service. It typically includes a selection of lighter breakfast items such as pastries, coffee, and juice. If you’d like to arrange it for guests, it’s best to notify the staff in advance, so everything is prepared on time. May I use the Hotel’s Facilities before my check-in or after my check-out?
All the Hotel’s Facilities are available to Grecotel Corfu Imperial guests to be used by the time you arrive in the hotel.
If I arrive before my check-in time, can I drop my bag somewhere?
Corfu Imperial provides you a luggage area where you can safely store your luggage and personal belongings.
Is it possible to have a confirmed late check out?
A day before your departure a late check out may be confirmed at the reception. There are different options with applicable charges to choose according to the availability the resort shall have. However, if you are planning to depart rather late and you want to ensure that the room would be possible to be kept, we suggest that you book in advance an overnight with your reservation.
What is the environmental tax? Am I obligated to pay it?
In compliance with legal regulations, a Climate Crisis Resilience Fee of €15.00 per room, per night is applied from April 1st to October 31st . The fee is settled directly by the guest at check-out.
From November 1st to March 31st , the fee is adjusted to €4.00 fee per room, per night.
Can we have twin beds in the Deluxe, Panoramic or Cruise Guestrooms Sea View of the Main Building?
Yes, the king size bed can be separated in 2 twin beds. Deluxe Guestroom, Panoramic, Cruise, Deluxe Bungalows Sea View and Swim Up Bungalows have this feature of twin beds available upon request. Kindly inform us about your wish prior your arrival.
Is there a coffee or tea in the room?
All rooms are equipped with Tea & Coffee Facilities, Nespresso coffee machine and pods (2 pods complimentary daily, daily replenishment instant coffee and tea), let us know if you wish to have fresh milk for tea.
Is it possible to accommodate 2 Children in a 2-Bedroom Beachfront Villa Private pool?
We can accommodate 2 children or 01 child and 01 infant in additional to 02 Adults in a 2-Bedroom Beachfront Villa Private pool. We can provide 1 x extra bed and 1 x double bed if twin beds are prior requested or 1 x double bed and 1 x Baby cot in the villa.
Children aged over 12 years old are considered as adults.
How much do you charge for an extra child in a Villa?
Should the villa occupancy allow to accommodate the children in the villa, children who are 12 years old and below will be able to stay on complimentary basis.
What is the size of the extra bed?
All our extra beds are 78 inches (200 cm) in length and 35 inches (90 cm) in width and can accommodate an extra person should the room occupancy allows to be accommodated.
Is it possible to arrange 2 x Villas next to each other?
If the booking is made in advance, we can certainly arrange two or more villas next to each to other or the closest as possible according to the type and availability.
Can you confirm a certain room number or location?
A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability.
How far are the Roc Villas from the Beach?
The Roc Villas are located on the northern side of the resort have their own private wooden deck directly to the sea, are located a few steps away from the main beach.
Which Villas are the most private?
While all of our villas offer a decent degree of privacy, our Rock Villas, Palazzo di Lago, the 2-Bedroom Waterfront Villas, the 3 Bedroom Dream Villas, Palazzo Imperiale and the Medusa Estate options offer the highest degree of privacy as these villas are located on exclusive spots. Privacy fences can be placed on the Villas upon request to further enhance the privacy.
Can there be twin beds in the Two Bedroom Waterfront Villas?
Yes, the king size bed can be modified in 2 twin beds in the second bedroom of the 2-Bedroom Waterfront Villa.
How many bathrooms are there in the Villas?
All our villas have one bathroom for each bedroom, additional wc may be available according to the Villas layout.
Do we have a dedicated butler if we book a certain room type?
Yes, you will we have a dedicated Villa Manager & a Butler if you have booked the Royal Pavilion, Palazzo Imperiale, Palazzo Libro d’Oro, the Medusa Estate depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.
How often are the bed sheets and towels changed?
Implementing measures of natural resources management with the aim of improving the local environment, bed sheets and towels are changed after the second day of your stay. However, in case you want them to be changed daily, you may place the designated label in the room.
Does the hotel provide Iron & Ironing board in the room?
Iron and ironing boards are available for our guests and can be delivered in their room for a limited length of time for security reasons.
Ironing Service is also available with an extra charge.
Is there a safety deposit box in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.

No, you may exchange cash notes at the airport in Euros.

Yes! We offer two sauna rooms, one steam room, and an indoor pool. No reservation is required for these areas. However, please note that swimming suits and slippers must be worn for the entire duration of your wet room session. You can enjoy these facilities at your convenience, with the flexibility to use them as part of your relaxation experience.
Do you have a gym?
Our fitness center spans 180 sq meters and is equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. Large glass doors offer stunning views of the outdoors, making your workout experience even more enjoyable.

1 child: Normal hours (8am – 22:00 pm): € 35 per hour
Extended hours (22:00pm – 8:00am): € 50 per hour

- Guests are required to book baby-sitting services 24-hours in advance, and they may do so via the Guest Services Team.
- All bookings are for a minimum of 1 hour and follow with 1-hour increments. For example, if the babysitting lasts for 1.30hrs the guest will be charged for 2 hrs.
- If baby-sitting services are required for more than 3 hours, the babysitter can avail one meal from in-villa dining which will be charged to the guest.
- For children below the age of 2, we allow one babysitter per child and for children above the age of 2 years, 2 children per babysitter at a time.
- Each babysitter is assigned to a single room/villa.
- Rates and taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
- The babysitter is chosen on best availability. We are not able to guarantee any specific requests such as gender, language or a specific Teammate. Teammates from Grecoland are available for babysitting duties outside of operational hours.

What Types of Water Sports Activities do you have?
We do have both non-motorized as well as motorized Water Sports activities.
With our Atlantis Watersports school, you can learn water-skiing and wakeboard, rent glass-bottom canoes, SUP, surf-bikes and pedaloes or space buggies, feed the fish by playing biodegradable mini golf, have fun on the coast with banana, airstream, u-slider and rings, or go extreme with parasailing and e-foil.
Are there good diving spots near Grecotel Corfu Imperial?
In Grecotel Corfu Imperial we have our Scuba Diving center on the resort, our cooperators of Amphitrite Diving center will arrange dives according to your level of experience children above 8 years of age may join and learn the secrets of the depths of the Ionian Sea.
Do you do Excursion boat trips?
We do have different types of boat trips a wide option of boats from self-driven to yachts to enjoy the sea breeze of the Ionian emerald waters, cruises and experiences, snorkeling excursions, fishing, as well as available at Grecotel Corfu Imperial Concierge Team ready to provide you plenty of information to plan the trip of your dreams.

We recommend to book Excursions a week prior to the arrival date to ensure availability. Soon after your arrival will also be possible to explore options and suggestions with our concierge team. For Scuba diving, your in-person presence is required during the booking process, hence, this can be done upon arrival. As for the watersports no pre-booking is required.

Do you have Entertainment Program?
Of course and you can enjoy an enhanced program of fitness activities and wellness sports during the day, including morning yoga, Pilates, aquagym, and aerobics. You can also enjoy DJ sets at the beach bar and lounge music in the evening. For more discreet entertainment, we host live DJ sets and music bands, either at the Alkinoos Lobby Bar or, during June-September, at the open-air terrace of the Odysseas Pool Bar. There’s always something to enjoy, no matter the time of day!

Is the Tennis available?
At Corfu Imperial, a Grecotel Resort to Live at Kommeno Peninsula, we do not have tennis courts or other sports courts on our premises. However, guests can enjoy 7 tennis courts, a basketball court, beach volleyball, a mini soccer court, and a brand-new paddle court at our sister property LuxMe Daphnila Bay Dassia, located just 2 km away from the resort.
Do I have to book the Tennis court?
At LuxMe Daphnila Bay Dassia, tennis courts must be booked through the Grecotel Application or by contacting the Concierge. The court is free unless playing with lights on, in which case charges will apply when renting the free equipment. Transfer is not included, but you may take the scheduled sea shuttle when available or book a taxi at either reception. Alternatively, you can rent an e-bike or e-scooter at the reception area and hire them through the app.
How I can book for Paddle Tennis?
To book paddle tennis at LuxMe Daphnila Bay Dassia, you can make a reservation at the reception of the resort. The activity comes with an extra charge of 30 euros per hour, and the price includes equipment. Please note that transfer to the sister property is not included, but you can use the scheduled sea shuttle when available or book a taxi at either resort reception.
Do you rent bicycles & scooters?
Yes, e-bikes and e-scooters are available for rent at the resort. All you need to do is download the Unicorn Mobility Application and follow the steps to rent and return them properly. If you’re interested in mountain bicycles or other styles of bicycles, or would like to arrange a bicycle tour, the Concierge will be happy to assist in arranging it according to your preferences.

How many Pools & Beaches are there?
At Corfu Imperial, a Grecotel Resort to Live at Kommeno Peninsula, there are four public pools: the Main Pool, which is heated during April, May, and October; a Smaller Pool, reserved for adults only; a Pool with Levels, featuring a shallow area perfect for younger children, located at the Boschetto near the Family accommodation; and an Indoor Pool at the Spa, heated during April, May, and October, also for adults only.
The resort also boasts four sandy beaches: the Main Beach, a Small Beach Coast, an Adults-Only Beach, and the Homes & Villas Beach, which is exclusively available for guests who have booked a villa.
These diverse pool and beach options offer a range of experiences for relaxation and enjoyment.

Yes, Early Breakfast can be arranged. Guests who need to start their day early can request this service. Additionally, lunch boxes can be arranged for guests who need to take meals on the go. Do you have a medical facility in the town?
We do have an assigned 24/7 on call Resort doctor (charges may apply), the public Hospital & the Private Medical Centre are located approx. 5km from the resort.
How close is the nearest pharmacy?
The nearest pharmacies are located at Tzavros & Dassia distance 3-4km, if needed, we can arrange for medication to be delivered to your room, and all applicable charges will be added to your room account. Just let us know, and our Guest Services team will take care of it for you.
Are there any stores at the resort for shopping?
We have two boutiques: one located in the main building and the other at the Promenade, offering clothing and accessories. There is also a mini market at the very end of our promenade, where you can find a variety of products, souvenirs, beach toys, and more. And don’t forget, inside the Gelateria, there’s a candy shop for some sweet treats. If you’re looking for any of these, our Guest Services team will be happy to assist you!
