What is the weather like in Rhodes?
Please be advised that the the climate of Rhodes Island is Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. The daily average temperature ranges from 9.5 °C (49 °F) in January to 25 °C (77 °F) in August.
From mid-March to May, the climate is mild, and the rains gradually become rarer.
From June to August, it almost never rains, and the maximum temperature can reach 35/36 °C (95/97 °F), especially in July and August. Luckily, sea breezes blow, providing relief, at least when the heat is not excessive, and in any case, you can cool yourself in the sea.
In September and October, there may still be some rainy days. Even when it rains, it is very unlikely to rain for days to an end but during the day or night leaving plenty of time to engage in indoor and outdoor activities in the resort or around the island.

On the hotel premises, there is a parking area with limited spots.

What is the payment and cancellation policy of the resort?
Pre-payment is required to guarantee reservations. How far ahead the payment is required and how far ahead you can cancel the reservation free of charge will depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.
How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is complete, the reservations team will send you a secure online payment link through which you can settle the payment via your credit card. Alternatively, we do accept bank transfers as well.
What are the payment methods while on the island?
Credit card, debit card, and cash payments are accepted. For credit cards, we accept VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. Guests must present the same credit card used for the booking, along with a photo ID or passport of the cardholder, upon check-in at the hotel.
Please note, according to legislation, partial or full settlement of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is prohibited. All payments exceeding this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer.

What is the standard mode of Airport transfer to Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama?
Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama organizes private transfers for arrival & departure from and to “Diagoras” International Airport for all guests. The journey will be approximately 20 minutes to access the resort from the airport.
What types of vehicles are used to the airport transfers?
Vehicles upon request:
Up to 3 passengers: Transfer with a TAXI
From 4-16 passengers, MINI VAN.
Is there a waiting time for the transfers to the resort?
Shared transfers are scheduled in line with international flight arrival times to “Diagoras” International Airport. Please expect a waiting time of 30 to 60 minutes, as this is shared with other guests. Alternatively, private transfers are available upon request for an additional fee.
How can Rhodes Town be reached?
- Public bus every 15 minutes to & from Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama. From 7pm to 12pm. The stop is 40 meters from the entrance of our hotel. Tickets are bought on the bus.
- Sea Transportation is available with extra charge.
- Taxi order is available 24/7 at the reception (waiting time from 10 – 30 minutes)
- With a rental car/motorbike, available option at the concierge desk

Can we book restaurants prior to arrival?
You can book the restaurants within 7 days prior your arrival through our Guests Services Team via email or our WhatsApp Concierge which will be found through our Grecotel App.
Do we need to book the restaurants in advance?
Reservation required to book restaurants to the arrival date to ensure the availability.
Am I able to visit all the Al A Carte restaurants with the all-inclusive LuxMe package?
You can visit all our a la carte restaurants. They are included in the LuxME concept package. Possibility to dine in each a la carte restaurant once a week, upon availability. Prior reservations required for all available restaurants.
How can I book an a la cart restaurant?
For your convenience, and for reservations at our a la cate restaurants we welcome you to use our GRECOTEL MOBILE APP.
How many times can I dine during my stay at a la carte restaurants?
Restaurants are subject to availability and are subject to change due to seasonality, weather, or other unforeseen causes. You may dine in each a la carte restaurant once a week, upon availability. Prior reservations required for all available restaurants. Restaurants can be closed on special occasions.
Where can I find the Food & Beverage menus?

What are the meal options for Children?
Children can dine for free in all our restaurants. All Restaurants have available Kids Menus. In the Dama Dama Main Restaurant Buffet, they can enjoy in our “Tasty Corner: Lunch from 12:30-14:00.
Let me just mention that the rose Fine Dining welcomes children over 12 years old.
Do you have Baby food meal plan?
0-1 toddlers will have arranged their baby food as you wish. Please contact the Restaurant Manager or your Guest Relations Department to order in advance. Our staff is happy to lend a hand with warming baby bottles or baby food.
What is implemented in your hotel in terms of dietary requirements ( allergies, intolerances, vegetarian & vegan menus)?
We do take special care of our guests with any food allergies as we recognize the importance of the issue. In our hotel you will find a variety of options. Whenever a guest who needs dietary guidance arrives at our hotel and informs us accordingly, we propose a meeting with our Chef, who is there to give all the information about the food, so there will be no reason to be concerned. Also, there are proper descriptions and indications/labels on all our foods.
Our Guest Services Team will be happy to arrange a meeting with the Chef upon arrival as well as help you with anything else you may.
Is there any dress code for the Restaurants?
We follow a resort-casual dress code during dinner time at all our restaurants. Swimwear and flip-flops are discouraged at all our restaurants.

What should I have with me upon the check-in?
Your ID card or Passport and the credit card you have used to book your reservation.
Is it possible to enter my room prior to check-in?
If the room is unoccupied, the hotel may approve earlier entrance. However, if you are planning to arrive early in the morning and you want to ensure that the room is ready, we suggest that you book an additional overnight prior to your arrival. Early check-in is optional and subject to availability. It is never reserved or confirmed in advance.
Can I upgrade my room category while I’m already at the hotel?
Gladly. Request a room category upgrade through the hotel reception and depending on availability you will be informed.
May I use the Hotel’s Facilities before my check-in or after my check-out?
All the Hotel’s Facilities are available to Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama guests to be used by the time you arrive in the hotel.
If I arrive before my check-in time, can I drop my bag somewhere?
LuxME Dama Dama provides you with a luggage area where you can safely store your luggage and personal belongings.
Is it possible to have a confirmed late check out?
A day before your departure a late check-out may be confirmed at the reception. There are different options with applicable charges to choose from according to the availability the resort shall have. However, if you are planning to depart rather late and you want to ensure that the room would be possible to be kept, we suggest that you book in advance an overnight with your reservation.
What is the environmental tax? Am I obligated to pay it?
An environmental fee, defined as Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, of €7,00 per room per night is applicable by law, payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon check in/out.
Can we have twin beds or Double bed in our room reservation?
Yes, kindly inform us about your wish prior to your arrival.
Is there coffee or tea in the room?
All rooms are equipped with Tea & Coffee Facilities, Nespresso coffee machine and pods (2 pods complimentary daily, daily replenishment instant coffee and tea), let us know if you wish to have fresh milk for tea.
Is it possible to arrange 2 x Rooms next to each other?
If the booking is made in advance, we can certainly arrange two or more rooms next to each to other or the closest as possible according to the type and availability.
Can you confirm a certain room number or location?
A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability.
Does the hotel provide Iron & Ironing board in the room?
Iron and ironing boards are available for our guests and can be delivered to their room for a limited length of time for security reasons.
Ironing Service is also available with an extra charge.
Is there a safety deposit box in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.
What plug adapter do I need to bring with me?
The power plugs and sockets in the hotel are of type C. Type C consists of two round parallel pins while the wall plug has two holes where it is connected. The standard voltage is 220 V.
Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?
No, you may exchange cash notes at the airport in Euros.
Is there an ATM machine on the hotel premises?
There is an ATM machine located on the lowest level of the hotel’s Main Building.
Is the hotel accessible to Mobility Impaired Guests?
Yes, all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. There are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel as well as rooms for disabled persons.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Small dogs up to 8kg are permitted only in our ground floor bungalow with their own private garden, terms and conditions are applied the resort must be contacted in advance.
Do you provide equipment for babies?
Yes, and it’s offered for free.

On the day of my departure can I use a room just for a shower before my flight?
Yes you can contact the hotel’s Reception or Guest Services Department to make an appointment at the specific time you need it. For 2 people you will be given a shower room for half an hour and for 4+, one hour. This service is free of charge.
On the day of my departure until what time can I use the hotel facilities if my flight is late at night?
You may stay and use our facilities until the time of your departure; however, we would like to inform you that the LuxMe package ends at 5 p.m. on the departure day.
I would like to know if there’s a smoking area in the hotel. Can you please let me know about the hotel’s smoking policy?
We would like to inform you that all rooms are non-smoking but there are designated smoking areas in our hotel for e-cigarettes or regular ones.
WELLNESS
Do we have to book the Massage Treatment in advance?
It is recommended to book through our Gazebo Masseur by the Beach the treatments in advance to guarantee the preferred timing.
Do you have Male Therapists?
We do have Male therapists at our Massage Gazebo by the Beach.
Do you have a Sauna, do I have to book?
We do have a sauna room in our Elixir Fitness Club. Reservation prior is required.
Do you have a gym?
We do have 2 gyms. One Outdoor and one indoor at our Elixir Fitness Club.
Are the pools heated? Is the indoor pool also heated? Is it allowed to use the indoor pool with kids?
We would like to inform you that our hotel does not have an outdoor heated pool, but only an indoor one that is allowed to people over 16 years old and is heated in the months of April, May & October.
Do you have a gym instructor?
We do have a gym instructor, free of charge. Personal training is with extra charge.
Do you have a medical facility on the island?
We do have a public hospital, two private clinics on the island, along with an assigned 24/7 on call Resort doctor.
KIDS CLUB
Do you have a kid’s club?
We have a very well-equipped children’s creative and educational facility called Grecoland.
What age is allowed in the kids’ club?
Children between the ages of 04 – 12 years old will have complimentary access to the Grecoland kids club. Children who are 3 years old and below will also have access to the Grecoland kids club in the presence of a parent or a guardian. Alternatively, babysitting service can be booked for children who are 3-years old and below.
Is it possible to book a babysitting service?
Babysitting service can be booked with the below prices and terms and conditions.
Normal hours (8am – Midnight): € 35 per hour/per child
Extended hours (Midnight – 2:00am): € 50 per hour/per child
Pricing is subject to a 10% service charge and 16% government tax.
- Guests are required to book baby-sitting services 48-hours in advance, and they may do so via the Guest Services Team.
- All bookings are for a minimum of 1 hour and follow with 1-hour increments. For example, if the babysitting lasts for 1.30hrs the guest will be charged for 2 hrs.
- For children under the age of 2, we allow one babysitter per child and for children above the age of 2 years, 2 children per babysitter at a time.
- Each babysitter is assigned to a single room.
- Rates and taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
- The babysitter is chosen based on best availability. We are not able to guarantee any specific requests such as gender, language, or a specific Teammate. Teammates from Grecoland are available for babysitting duties outside of operational hours.

What Types of Water Sports Activities do you have?
We do have both non-motorized as well as motorized Water Sports activities.
Are there good diving spots near Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama?
In Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama we have an external collaborator Scuba Diving center visit our hotel once a week or you can find them at Rhodes Town. Our cooperators “Waterhoppers Diving center will arrange dives according to your level of experience children above 8 years of age may join and learn the secrets of the depths of the Aegean Sea.
Do you do Excursion boat trips?
We do have different types of boat trips a wide option of boats from self-driven to yachts to enjoy the sea breeze of the Aegean emerald waters, cruises and experiences, snorkeling excursions, fishing, as well as available at Grecotel LuxME Dama Dama Concierge Team ready to provide you plenty of information to plan the trip of your dreams.
Do we have to pre-book Watersports, Scuba Diving and Excursions?
We recommend booking excursions a week prior to the arrival date to ensure availability. Soon after your arrival will also be possible to explore options and suggestions with our concierge team. For Scuba diving, your in-person presence is required during the booking process, hence, this can be done upon arrival. As for watersports, no pre-booking is required.
